dates
to follow. There is football on the Martec field Saturdays at

2008 Tour
At present suggestions for the tour are -
'The Bob the Builder tour' to Poland & Benidorm - any other
suggestions
would be gratefully accepted by the Tour Organising Party (i.e
Michael
Elsy) - the sooner the better would be good to get a place
organised.
Match fees & Fundraising
Last season not all the subs were collected (you tight wads kept
moaning about being skint etc. - so get your hands in your
pockets) resulting
in a reduced income essential to pay for the running of the club
and
contribute towards nights out and end of season presentations
etc.. It was agreed
that this season £2 subs will be collected BEFORE the game + £1
per beer if
you have one after the game. No subs no game. Spectators will be
asked to
pay £1 to help towards club funds (Cheap for the chance to watch
quality rugby
- if we're crap it may be reduced to 75p, though I doubt it)
Other Business
- New Players - With some of our past regular players getting a
bit
past it - playing with a zimmer frame is just embarassing - it
is important we
try and get some new faces into the club this season - It is the
responsibility of all club members to try and get new players
down to the College. If
you know anyone who is interested either bring them down to the
club or
pass on club e-mail details so they can get in touch. Any
suggestions about how
we can raise interest in the club would also be welcomed so we
can get
more players for the coming season.
